    22"   French doll by Jules Nicholas Steiner , marked on head and body , excellent condition and all original , finest quality bisque with nice complexion , closed mouth and stationary blue paperweight eyes, Steiner card board pate and old mohair wig, body has no repaint and is marked with the Steiner flag, a well working crier, well modeled  , exposed and pierced ears , her tip of nose is little white , no damage on bisque , old undergarments and a new two piece costume, French leather shoes are original  , $ 4200.00 ( firm )

   16" French Belton Type doll made in Germany Region Sonneberg circa 1880 , a very pale and beautiful bisque socket head with closed mouth , little white space between lips , accented lips and nostrils ,  modeled and pierced in head ears , head is just marked :  116 ,  excellent condition , no flakes , no hairlines , no imperfections ! a fine early doll body with straight wrists and original finish overall , great older costume in mariner style , old white French leather shoes,  reasonable priced :  $ 1200.00 FIRM

23" Gebrueder Heubach  mold # 7246 Germany 1912 , hard to find such a large size !Beautiful closed mouth doll , fully marked on head , brown sleep eyes , old mohair wig,  no hairlines , no chips , little rubs on one cheek , great German doll body in good shape with original finish, nicely dressed , older socks and shoes

     I guarantee  she is an original Heubach doll made in Lichte  , Germany circa 1912                 $ 2250.00 firm                                     

    17"  French character Doll by Societe  Francaise  Bebes et Jouets,  S.F.B.J 235 ,  a fine bisque socket head with solid dome , molded and painted hair , modeled ears , open / closed mouth with two molded and painted teeth , dimpled chin , marked on head : S.F.B.J.  235  Paris   / 6  = size , excellent condition on head and body , no hairlines and no chips , his old woolen mariner outfit has some wear from age silk ribbon is melted   , all old dressed , included old socks and shoes  , $  1550.00

     Automaton with key wind system  made in France by Roullet & Dechamps  when wound up girl is walking and pulling her filled cart, doll has 12 1/2" height and is made by Simon & Halbig for the French market , her mold #  1300 - 2 DEP , open mouth and teeth , blue eyes , very good bisque quality beautiful modeled bisque hands  are holding the handles , three dolls included , all original and well working , the dress of the "Driver " is little faded and some wear from age on dress , $ 1350.00    FIRM              14" cart length , 12 1/2" tall

  There is some fear about Heubach Reproduction  character dolls and they are some on the way, but believe me , after 30 years in antique doll business the  feeling  for what is antique becomes very strong...... so with a good sense I offer you  : "The Marquis " as he looks like !This doll has 21 "  and has a fine bisque socket head with closed mouth and blue intaglio eyes , marked : 7602  /  8  / Germany .... no damage on the head but he has little peppered bisque on neck , pictures available

    15 1/2" Oriental doll with tinted and fired bisque head, nice complexion , doll has open mouth and teeth , dark brown stationary slant  glass eyes with painted eye lashes , slant painted eye brows , just marked with : "2"  she is attributed to Schoenau & Hofmeister and made in German circa 1910 , still original stringed with wire , a fine five piece toddler body made from composition , has original finish overall , painted brown shoes , doll is wearing undergarments , silk pants matching to her blue silk Kimono , excellent condition , very lovely Oriental doll in nice size  $ 1250.00 FIRM

    Famous Baby Bo Kaye has 16" , all the time my favor , now selling  ! This doll is made from finest quality , the bisque socket head with swivel neck is made by Alt , Beck & Gottschalk ,designer was J.L.Kallus , head is marked .... the solid dome is well modeled , has molded and painted hair and exposed ears , she has the version with open mouth and two upper teeth, blue sleep eyes , chubby cheeks and a deeply character modeling , the German head is mounted on a American cloth body with lower limbs from composition , all in good shape and original.....

  13" MARIE.... character doll by Kammer & Reinhardt mold # 101 , excellent condition and no hairlines , no chips , her quality on bisque is just great , the pictures does not show it ! she has nice complexion and carefully painted facial features with blue eyes , fully marked on head and just very minor wig pull , fully jointed K*R body with original finish , pretty nice redressed .... an old cast Iron buggy and bisque baby included ! I repeat : no damage and best condition , head and body fine ! $ 1800.00

La Poupee de Mode  by Francois Gaultier  made in France circa 1880, excellent condition on this very lovely Fashion doll with the fabulous pale bisque socket head on bisque shoulder plate ...irresistible presentation in a beautiful outfit and her old accessories  included ! What a great size !! her head and bisque shoulder plate is set on an original kid body with individual stitched fingers , gusset jointed on hips and knees, straight arms , shoulder plate is marked on one side F.G. other side has a "6" also the head self  has a "6" , original cork pate and original mohair wig ( little sparse back on head ) closed mouth with accented lips and nostrils , blue spiral glass eyes with painted eye lashes , exposed and pierced ears

18 1/2" Little Riding Hood with her basket...... Wolf is not so far..... a complete play set for a good price : 2 items included !  Unusual mold by F.W Goebel , what a great physiognomy : chubby cheeks , wide open  smiling mouth , small brown sleep eyes and a little cute snub nose , her ears are larger than normally ...... very happy fellow ! one of a rarer French character doll # 233 , the physiognomy of that boy corresponds to a crying or singing doll : he has the so rare interchangeable socket head , his mouth is wide open and deep , row of upper teeth and four lower teeth , the blue paperweight eyes are slightly closed, ears are well turned , chin well formed

   22"  French bebe by JUmeau , has a closed mouth and blue paperweight eyes, very pretty  ! has unfortunately a restoration on forehead and her erased stamp is covered by painting the area , Jumeau body has been repainted , nicely dressed ..... this is a good doll for a lower price  , the restoration is FABULOUS , NOTHING TO SEE , what a great Job !!  $ 2400.00

A dip with green stamp on head made in Germany 1912 by Swaine  & CO. this baby has a wonderful and fine pink tinted bisque head with a closed mouth , blue sleep eyes with painted upper and lower eye lashes ( head is stuffed ) solid dome with molded and painted hair and exposed ears, no hairlines , no neck chips , no damage , except the eye chip I mentioned , baby is nicely old dressed , the pink pillow and a Steiff Duck are included for $ 775.00.....wow. !!
